Season; Ever considered when it is you’re selling your home? If you think about that 65 day average, start selling your home end of spring, beginning of summer to ensure that the warm, sunny season brings out the best of your home features rather than colder, darker, winter months.

Get the price right; You want to find that perfect balance between finding enough buyers that can afford your property, but not price your home too low to make sure that you aren’t underselling the total value of your house. Do some market research for your area and ask around realtors to see what price range they think would be the optimal selling price for the area.
Repair any damage; One of the things that puts buyers off the most is having to do a lot of maintenance work should they buy your house. Make sure that all essential, and visible damage to the interior or exterior is taken care of. New windows aren’t a must, but burnt carpets, broken kitchens, and loose porch tiles can certainly put off potential buyers.
De-cluttering; Give your house a good de-clutter. Take away big items and things that obstruct a home viewers experience in your house to make your home look light, bright and airy!
