Thinking Of Selling Your Home? You Need To Know How Much It’s Worth!

If you want to sell your home fast, you need to know how to give it the best price for selling. The calculation can be; what’s your home worth, what are the homes in your area selling for and what have they sold for recently. Without doing this kind of analysis you won’t know what your home could sell for and what price range you would need to adopt to sell your home fast! Price it too high with a realtor and you will be sat waiting and waiting and, inevitably waiting for a buyer to come in. If you price your home too low, then you could lose money that you desperately need.

These sites are a great start to understanding the marketplace. Use these portals to check what houses similar to yours are selling for, or have actually sold. Widen your search by a few miles and get a lay of the land, understand what houses are selling for and what conditions they are in a wider area. This kind of knowledge can help you with your home sale.

Sell Your House Fast in Tallahassee

Tallahassee is the state capital of Florida, sticking with its native American name, the City literally means “old fields.” Luckily though, through the years, this great city of Tallahassee has grown to be a prosperous and fun city for locals and perfect for investors looking to buy and sell homes fast in the state of Florida. As this is the state capital, you can imagine how many things there are to do in this great city, without further adieu, let’s see what makes this city such a great investment opportunity for investors and buyers with our brief city guide.

The Red Hills (Tallahassee)
Situated on a 300,000-acre site, The Red Hills are as intrinsic to the land of Tallahassee as much as anything else. Located between Tallahassee and Thomasville, Georgia, The Red Hills are known for its rolling hills and red clay soils. Distinctive with a rich biological diversity, this really does stand out for those areas of pure natural beauty.

Referred to the land between two rivers, the Red Hills region “stretches between the scenic Ochlockonee and Aucilla Rivers and serves as a lifeline between coastal and northern wild lands.”

Florida Caverns State Park (3345 Caverns Rd, Marianna, FL 32446)
Being one of the few state parks with dry (air-filled) caves and is the only state park in Florida to offer cave tours to the public. This is one of the main environmental attractions of the state and is regarded as a fantastic natural landscape to explore and discover more about the Florida environment and history. From limestone stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, flowstones and draperies, the Caverns State Park is perfect for many a natural excursion.

Florida Caverns State Park is popular for camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. The park does not rent horses, however, stables are available for the equestrian enthusiast.

Tallahassee’s Williamsburg (2100 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32304)
The actual name of the site is, San Luis Mission and if Williamsburg is the founders home in Pennsylvania, when you compare that to Tallahassee’s own great history, then you have a contest on your hands. (Admittedly, the site in Pennsylvania is more noted, however). As Doug Alderson wrote of this great site, “when the English and their Creek Indian allies invaded in 1704, most Apalachee Indians were killed or dispersed, their former territory nearly completely denuded of people. Slowly, over the next few decades, Indians began to break away from the various Muscogee Creek bands to the north and resettle the land of the Apalachee, perhaps assimilating any Apalachee survivors still in the area. These Creek Indians settled the Apalachee capital of Anhaica and called it Tulwa-hassee, “Old Town” or “Old Fields” in acknowledgement of the former residents. They settled along rivers such as the Apalachicola, long used as trade routes for their predecessors, and they made frequent forays to the coast for seafood and items such as whelk shells. Eventually, they were called simano-li by their Creek brethren to the north, a term borrowed from the Spanish word cimarron, meaning “wild” or “runaway.” Some linguists and historians postulate that the Creek definition also meant “separatist” or “those who camp at a distance.”

Museum of Florida History (500 S Bronough St, Tallahassee, FL 32399)
Opened in 1977, the Museum of Florida History is a prominent feature in Tallahassee cultural life. The museum collects, preserves and exhibits evidence of past and present cultures in Florida as well as creating the space to appreciate its heritage.

Because it is a state museum it focuses on Florida’s role and the impact that it has in national and global events. With permanent exhibits featuring such displays as Florida in the Civil war and World War 2 memorabilia, this museum provides both an education and research program that the locals of Tallahassee can enjoy to develop their knowledge of the local land.

All Saints Cinema ( 918 Railroad Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32301)
Run by the Tallahassee Film Society, brought about to specifically ensure that foreign and independent films could be seen in different locations, this Cinema’s unique place setting, a former operational AMTRAK railway projects indie and foreign films onto a large brick wall.

Showing films all year round, this great cinema experience is hailed as a local triumph and admired by many outside of the state.

The Brass Tap (1321 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303)
With craft beer becoming one of the biggest trends in food and drink over the last five years across America, and the world, it’s no surprise then to see Tallahassee well versed in the art of this artisanal drink. Across this great state, people are looking for great craft beer and they can find this here at The Brass Tap.

As one customer posted, “Walk by on a Saturday evening and you’re sure to hear the clink of mugs, music and laughter echoing off the streets from these beacons of cool brews on those warm Florida nights. But be warned – picking that perfect beer won’t be easy.

The beer menu may be the length of a PhD thesis, but it’s an entertaining read that will lead to tantalizing choices. With a total of over 130 taps and 300 beers, the most difficult choice you’ll make is what beer to start off with. Do you go straight for that Imperial IPA or ease into the draught menu with a pilsner?”

B Sharp’s Jazz Cafe (648 West Brevard St., Tallahassee, FL 32304)
Known as Tallahassee’s only listening room, the B Sharp Jazz Cafe was established in the early 1920’s by a group of African American Women in a Women’s Working Band, the current venue holds many a great jazz and gospel music performances and is recognised by the State of Florida on the national register of Historic Places.
